This is a game, run by Alin Pribeagu, and it is free. By playing it you agree to what follows. If you do not, the remedy is simple: do not play.

Accounts and Premium

Playing as a guest is free. An optional account uses an email address, player name and password. Keep your password private and use an address you control.

Where available, Premium removes advertisements while you are signed in. The price, currency and applicable taxes are shown before you subscribe. It renews monthly until canceled. Manage payment details and cancel from Account through Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation at the end of the billing period keeps Premium until that period ends. Failed payments or an ended subscription may restore advertisements; the games remain free.

Contact us about billing problems or refunds. These terms do not limit any consumer rights that apply to you. Only create an account or purchase a subscription if you can legally agree to these terms, with a parent or guardian where required.

Founder Pack

Where available, the Founder Pack is a one-time purchase at an amount you choose, starting at $2 USD before any applicable tax. It includes a Founder badge on your BoomWick account and in the site header while signed in. Sign in and confirm your email before buying. The badge is added after Stripe confirms payment; some payment methods take longer to confirm. Paying more grants the same pack.

The Founder Pack is not a subscription and does not include Premium or gameplay advantages. All games remain free. The total and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. Contact us about billing problems or refund requests. A fully refunded purchase no longer grants its badge. Your applicable consumer rights are unaffected.

Anonymous donations

You can also support BoomWick with a voluntary one-time donation without creating an account. Choose an amount from $2 USD. Donations are not linked to a BoomWick account, do not publish your name, and do not grant a Founder badge, Premium or gameplay advantages. Stripe collects the payment details needed to process your contribution. The total and any applicable taxes are shown before you pay. Contact us about payment problems or refund requests; your applicable consumer rights are unaffected.

Playing

• No account is needed to play: you type a name, and that is what a room sees. Pick one you would not mind being seen by everyone in it, because it will be.
• Do not use a modified client, a script, or anything that plays for you.
• Do not attack the service: no floods, no probing for holes. The limits in place are not a challenge.
• Do not harass other players.

Whoever does any of these may find themselves unable to play, and usually without warning, because a warning is an invitation to try again more quietly.

What this is not

• It comes with no warranty of any kind. It may be down, it may lose a match, it may be taken offline entirely.
• Nothing here is guaranteed to keep working, and no liability is accepted for anything that follows from using it, to the extent the law allows.
• These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did.

Ownership

The code, the artwork and the sounds of these games belong to Alin Pribeagu. They are original work, drawn from kinds of game that are decades old — a maze of crates and a bomb, a pitch drawn on squared paper — and from no particular one of them.
